The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) advances women’s health across the lifespan by translating evidence into education, advocacy, and action. Through initiatives spanning dementia, maternal and menstrual health, menopause, migraines, obesity, osteoporosis, rare disease, and sexually transmitted diseases, AMWA elevates overlooked gaps in care and builds cross-sector partnerships. Central to this work is incorporating the patient voice into education—grounding learning in lived experience to foster more responsive, compassionate, and effective care for women everywhere.
AMWA’s 2025-2026 Women’s Health Education Campaigns: A focus on Osteoporosis, Dementia and Caregiving, Headache and Migraine, Rare Disease and Women, Menopause, and Eczema
