AMWA and Korn Ferry: A Partnership for Women Physician Leadership

AMWA has partnered with Korn Ferry and Korn Ferry Foundation to bring world-class leadership development to women physicians. This collaboration offers evidence-based tools and tailored guidance to help physicians strengthen their leadership skills, expand their influence, and drive meaningful change in healthcare.


Building Diverse Leadership: The KF Leadership U for Humanity Program

KF Leadership U for Humanity has leveraged 50 years of experience developing and placing leaders in management and executive positions. This program was established to accelerate the preparation of a more representative leadership pool reflecting a greater range of perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds who will champion conscious inclusion and greater responsiveness to their teams. AMWA members can apply for this fully funded leadership program with coaching.

  • Have been working for at least 4 years (residency can count) and up to 15 years
  • Be an AMWA member in good standing (Join or renew now to be sure you are eligible)
  • Commit to nine hours of course study a month (1-2 hours/week during business hours – typically during a Tues-Thurs 12-3 pm ET) over 6 consecutive months, which will include self-guided learning, live (virtual) courses, individual coaching, and career support.  Apply now to reserve your spot.
