WEL Program

The Women’s Wellbeing through Equity and Leadership (WEL) program aims to engage a diverse group of early- to mid-career women physicians in networking, mentorship, and training around wellbeing, equity and leadership. The purpose of this program is to develop leaders who are prepared to contribute to healthier, more equitable work experiences for women physicians and their patients. The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) is one of 10 national medical organizations invited to sponsor members for this 15-month leadership training program, funded by The Physicians Foundation.
