AMWA Blog: SGHC with GETF
This blog series is developed in collaboration with the Gender Equity Task Force of AMWA. GETF strives to accomplish gender equity as a fact of life in society, and to engage in activities, action, and collaborations pursuant to this goal, beginning with the healthcare industry of which women physicians are one component.
Building on the SGHC’s established factsheets, ScholarRx Bricks, and other educational material, this blog series translates foundational data into accessible, clinically relevant narratives. Each piece will expand on key topics—highlighting disparities in presentation, diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes—while also addressing gaps in education, research, and policy. Together, this collaboration aims to bridge the divide between knowledge and practice, equipping clinicians, trainees, and advocates with the tools to deliver more equitable, informed care.
