The American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) is thrilled to welcome back Kayla Haydon to the AMWA’s headquarters team. Kayla previously served as AMWA’s Assistant Director before starting medical training. She is now a MD/MBA in Healthcare Management student at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Currently in a research year as a Pediatric Plastic Surgery Research Fellow at Lurie Children’s Hospital, she will again be helping to support AMWA programs and projects.
Kayla holds an MSc in Clinical Embryology from the University of Oxford and BS from the University of South Florida. She is passionate about advancing women in medicine and promoting health equity.
