Inspiring the Next Generation: AMWA Medical Students Champion Women in Medicine at Sandy Creek Women in Science Event

AMWA’s medical student group represented women in medicine at the Sandy Creek Nature Preserve Women in Science event held on 2/28/26. With medical students Sophia Tran, Maria Harman, Nidhi Shah, and Chloe Lee, they worked with other organizations and schools across the area to show kids and their parents how to listen to their hearts, use reflex hammers and tuning forks, and feel their heartbeat in their pulses. Encouraging kids to consider a career in medicine, they demonstrated their own passion for medicine and inspired many!
