AMWA recognizes that helping women in medicine build fulfilling, rewarding careers often requires guidance beyond textbooks—sharing the “unwritten rules” and offering strategies to navigate the path ahead with confidence and purpose. Mentorship can be short-term, to address a specific challenge, or long-term, providing a trusted sounding board as your goals evolve over time.

AMWA Mentorship Groups’ purpose is to provide a valuable, informative venue for guidance on a specific area of interest from one AMWA member to another. Physician Leaders are volunteering their time and expertise to uplift and equip our next generation of physicians with an extra piece of knowledge or confidence they need to succeed.
