Human Trafficking Awareness Month – promote AMWA’s interactive website www.doc-path.org to engage and educate healthcare providers.

Promote Heart Month – Host a Red Dress Event and support AMWA’s partnership with The Heart Truth.

Women’s History Month – visit AMWA’s on-line exhibitions Faces of AMWA, Women Physician Suffragists, and Women Physicians in World War I.

Visit the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm to learn about Dr. Bertha Van Hoosen’s pioneering work in medicine.

Alcohol Awareness Day – Educate young youth about underage drinking and the dangers of alcohol poisoning. Counsel patients about safe alcohol use.

Promote Women’s Health Week by hosting a health fair or distributing brochures on women’s health.

Get involved with AMWA – Apply to join AMWA’s Board of Directors or nominate a colleague for an AMWA award.
