The medical humanities were highlighted through presentations, workshops and musical performances both before and during the meeting.

The conference also spotlighted initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities and promoting equity in healthcare delivery. Sessions on sex and gender-specific medicine, reproductive health, and the integration of technology in patient care provided attendees with cutting-edge knowledge to inform their practice and advocacy efforts.
AMWA’s ongoing programs, such as the Elevate Leadership Certification and group coaching for physicians, were showcased as vital resources for professional development and personal growth. These initiatives reflect the organization’s dedication to empowering women physicians at every career stage.
